Your Trusted Plumber in San Francisco
Called on a Friday at 1pm about a clogged and backing up shower drain, and was able to schedule a drop-in between 4 & 5pm. I was pleasantly surprised to see them arrive early at 3:40pm. He was quick, thorough, and cleaned up after himself! It was much appreciated as I know Fridays can be busy. Can't say enough good things about Boris. He's very accommodating in emergencies--several times he has responded to our calls in the evening.

He does very good work and his charges are reasonable. Very highly recommended. Same day appointment for garbage disposal installation and fixed the leak under the kitchen sink. Will use again for sure. Boris installed an upstairs tank water heater in my rental and a tankless water heater in my home. Excellent work. I highly recommend.

I have been using Bay Area Plumbing since I bought my first house in 2000. Boris comes on time and fixes the problem and looks out for longer term issues. Be it hot water heaters, clogged drains, faucets changes, fixing the leaks under the kitchen sink or the myriad of other plumbing issues one could have. I now use him for my rental properties, too. First class, master level repairs at fair price.

Boris helped repair my water heater, but also came out again several days later to adjust the hot water recirculator that had acted up. All is well now. Thank you!

Boris has been out to our house in SF twice. Both times he was either on time
or early. One time was to clear a drain and the second time was to replace a faucet cartridge and a faulty shut off valve. Both times he was very professional and his work was top notch. Our previous regular plumber is mostly retired now; Bay Area Plumbing is our plumber for life. I don't think you can find a better plumber.

Quick response to query as well as scheduling. Knowledgeable, friendly, quick and competent. Also left things tidy and took care while performing work. Reasonable price and excellent problem solving on a challenging fix. Would 100% recommend and has been saved as our first choice Plummer from Herat going forward.

Super efficient, very reasonable price, we always call him for any issues. Our whole condo uses him now. Protip: Best communication is via Yelp. Messaged him on Yelp and he responded instantly. On another occasion I didn't get an immediate response to a phone message. In that case it wasn't an emergency so I didn't followup right away either, so wouldn't draw a conclusion from that. But then when I messaged via Yelp it was amazingly fast and he came the same morning, so that's what I do from now on.

Great price. Boris installed two Toto Drake toilets that I purchased thru him. Installation, toilets, two seats, and disposal cost $1401 and change. Quick and clean. He is licence, and has 25 years of experience. One company wanted $1899 for the installation of just one toilet. Almost laughed in his face.

Boris had done work for us before and always is the consummate plumber. He is always prompt and very astute at diagnosing problems. He installed a new kitchen sink faucet. It was a space challenge under the sink due to the sink installation. So, it wasn't easy physically. I appreciated he completed the job so quickly even with the MacGyver efforts. Never complains and is very professional, strong work ethnic and honest. I think he is so good that I will use him for more work that isn't an emergency. Boris gives plumbers a good name!

Boris came out for an emergency leak situation and quickly identified the problem. Unfortunately he couldn't fix the source of the leak due to it being in another unit, but I definitely appreciated the quick response and tips for dealing with the insurance to cover the damage!

Great for emergencies. I needed to fix a leaking shower faucet in a very short amount of time and Boris was able to make it out on a day or two notice. Not the cheapest, but honest, quality work, and I'd call him again.

Started the day with clogged kitchen sink and water leaking into lower cabinet. Called BAP, and was originally told that the plumber would come by later in the afternoon. That was ok, "better later than never". Nice dispatcher called me back to say the plumber had finished a job early, so he'd be over shortly.

Boris K showed up promptly, checked out the problem, tried the easiest pipe tightening fix, which unfortunately didn't work due to clogged pipe.

So he ran the "snake" all the way to building main line, cleared out the long-worsening clog, tighted all pipe connections with new hardware and cleaned up the whole work area. All in less than 45 mins. Price was fair and reasonable. Thanks Boris & Bay Area Plumbing!

Boris replaced my kitchen faucet in San Mateo. He returned my call promptly and provided professional service with good value. I have a large kitchen sink with a garbage disposal and it required extra effort to get into a small place to replace the faucet. I highly recommend Boris.
